Chapter 28
I sat with Bass the following morning by the riverbank that was near a lake. It's a beautiful day. Peaceful and calming. The golden rays of sunshine shone down on the water making it glisten. The morning is a collection of dazzling colors of yellow, green and blue. The dewdrops on the grass sparkled at the sun’s warm rays. Many trees and flowers are blossoming, the scents of nature being blown by the wind to us.
Apart from a handful of times, I’ve never been with Bass much during the day. He’s always busy with his duties but today, he stayed in with me.
