Chapter 37 I’ve felt this before. Poison but it’s much worse than the last time. It made my mind fuzzy and hazy. The flesh under my skin is on fire. My arms feel like they’ve been ripped off from my body. I groan painfully, sweat trickling down my forehead. My heart is beating so fast that I’m shaking.  “Fight it, Maggie. You can do it.” I hear a soft voice whisper. Cool fingers press itself on my skin providing momentary relief from the searing pain that came from my bloodstream.  I succumb to the darkness again, passing out from the pain.  There was nothing for a long time but when I finally came to, I felt renewed.
