Seeing my best friend, Lemuel, after quite a while made me so happy.
“You little daisy! I missed you!” he said cheerfully after we hugged, and then he patted my head like I was his forever baby girl.
I pouted like a child at him. “Really? You missed me?”
We got over the hug, and I was still being clingy by staying my arms wrapped around his body.
“Of course!” He pinched my nose softly. “Why would I lie if it wasn't true that I missed you!”
I grinned and leaned comfortably my head on his broad chest. “I missed you, too!”
He smiled and gently caressed my hair.
