“Still awake?” I asked her softly.
“Yeah. You?”
“Same. Can't you sleep?”
“Don't know, maybe a little later… How about you? Why aren't you sleeping yet?” she asked me back.
“I'm not that sleepy yet.”
She did not respond anymore.
I released a sigh and seriously spoke, “You know what… Truth be told, never in my mind did I ever think, not even once, of doing something that I know you would not like. I was just purely teasing you all this time, wanting to see your childish yet cute reaction. You're so cute, especially when you get babyishly mad…” I smiled as I confessed.
I could imagine her smirking her face and rolling her eyes while laying on the bed. “So, you’re teasing me to trigger me, huh! How thoughtful of you!” There was sarcasm in her tone but it was soft and also humourous.
