Elle’s POV  I woke up with a sharp gasp, my heart pounding like I had been running in a dream. Then I heard it. That sound. That same awful, powerful sound I had heard before. A deep, echoing roar that made the floor seem to vibrate. It shook the walls, crept through the silence, and wrapped itself around my spine. It was happening again.
