Ethan’s POV I woke up lying on the cold, hard floor. My body felt heavy, like I had bricks tied to every part of me. My head was pounding, and my chest felt tight like something had gone wrong—like something bad had happened. The air around me was still. Too still. And I didn’t remember anything.
