I found it interesting that Ares’ immediate reaction to this was wanting to talk to Rayden about it.
I wasn’t sure if that was because he felt like Rayden would be able to suggest what to do about this, or if he wanted emotional support from the older man - the only person left who he might consider a father-figure.
There was nothing I could say to make the situation any easier for him, and I didn’t have a clue how he was feeling. I couldn’t possibly understand how he must have felt when he found something he thought he had lost forever - something that was a connection to his family.
