“I am so happy, Betty. You gave me the best gift of my life. Thank you for bringing him into our lives”, mom looked lovingly at Betty while holding our son in her embrace. The pup was sleeping soundly in her embrace. I smiled at her. I never had seen her beaming this much. She was always worried and tense ever since I had seen her. Being a queen always brought problems and worries for us and, after our birth, keeping ourselves safe was always her first priority. She always kept worried whenever one of us stayed outside the pack as we both couldn’t stay together. Since the birth of Kevin’s pup, I felt that all the worries had left her because I could see her smiling and laughing more than before.
