“Are you out of your mind, Betty? What were you thinking before proposing that meeting with that mutt?” Victor yelled at me so loudly that I felt my eardrum would burst open soon. “Geez, Victor… do you want to make me deaf?” I yelled while rubbing my ears. Both Kevin and Victor glared at me. “What were you thinking, child?” I looked at dad who was also looking at me with a serious face. I looked at mom who has also had a very serious face. I cleared my throat and then looked at all of them. We were presently in dad’s office. I really felt complete when I called them mom and dad. I wanted to have a complete family and my mates gave me what I wanted for my whole life.
