CHAPTER NINETEEN
It was the first night Alex would stay the night at Aaron's place. Both kids were at friends' houses. Aaron warned Alex that unless she wanted to run into them in the morning, though, she should probably head out early.
"Are you telling me that you're kicking me out at dawn?" she joked as she took in the Christmas tree.
Aaron came up behind her, hugging her from behind. "I'm just trying to protect you from annoying preteen comments."
"They know we're..." Alex struggled to choose the right word. "Seeing each other?"
"You went shopping for this tree with us."
"Doesn't mean they don't think I'm just a friend."
Aaron kissed her neck, his hands roving over her body. It only took a few touches, a few kisses, and she was putty in his hands.
