Kate leaned down until her mouth was inches from Paul’s ear. “This is not one of your goddamn games, Kato.” She ground out his middle name and almost felt ill. He’d always loved that name. As a kid he’d been totally into pretending he was Bruce Lee helping out the Green Hornet. It had led them both into many near disasters, for which she always got the blame. One of these days she was just going to let him dangle at the end of his own rope.
