It Seems Like He Is In A Good Mood

"What makes you think so Amanda?" Dad asked and choking

"I don't know Dad but then I need you to trust me on this one and have some faith" I said convincingly

"You know you remind me so much of my mother, your grandmother. She was just like you are, always lively and you know optimistic even in the hardest of times. She believed things were going to change for good. She had so much faith and right now as you talk about faith; you made me remember the days when we could barely feed and you hear her always saying 'Eddie my boy! Stay strong. We aren't going to end up like this' and I'll just smile. Look me here now true to her words I did achieved some feats" Dad said and exhaled deeply then stared blankly into space as though he could see through his blindfold.

"Hmmm... she was truly a strong woman indeed then"

" Yeah she was, just as

you are now" Dad replied

And then just as I was about to reply, I began to hear footsteps approaching towards the room

"They are coming back Dad stay calm" I said in hush tone but Dad didn't reply and then the door flew open with a great force

"Good to see you all in your best behaviors. I'm impressed I must say. Kudos to you all"A voice said calmly

" Anyways I'm back and just as I had anticipated no one in this room missed me but it's all cool because I'm used to all that" Another voice added and I began to hear footsteps approaching my direction.

"On a more serious note now, it seems like the boss is in a good mood today because the boss I know wouldn't even give out his leftovers to his victims but look here he bought you all lunch. I suppose you all should consider this as a special treat from him. I can confidently say this is the first time I'm seeing this happen since my 7 years of working for him" He added

"Well go tell your boss that we aren't angry so we don't need his food" I said irked

" Did I hear you well? what did you say?" He asked calmly

" I said what I said and I meant every word in it. We don't need his food he can go ahead and extend this generosity of his to others because we don't need it" I added

"Amanda stay calm and allow me handle this myself" Dad chipped in softly

" Oh wow this is so ridiculous. I never knew we had a mad puppy inform of a little girl here or else I would have ordered her to be moved to a rehab center" Another voice said

" I see..." A voice waffled

"Hey watch your tongue and stop calling my daughter a lunatic or else..." Dad roared

" Else what? And if I don't stop what can a loser like you do?" Another voice said as I heard someone plod towards the room

"Well unbind my eyes and set me free then I will show you what a loser tends to do when filled with rage" Dad said

"What will you do? Show me now like right now you fool" A voice barked and I heard a chair gait

"Leave my Daddy alone. He hasn't done anything to you. You two" I yelled moving uneasily on my chair

"Answer me you fool" Another voice said and I heard groaning sound

"Leave him alone don't hurt him please" I said pleadingly but no one would even listen to me as they continued to torture Dad

"Please listen to me. Somebody help please!!" I screamed as I fell over my chair with my hands still tied to it

"And what the hell is going on here?" A voice bellowed from outside

" Somebody talk to me!" He thundered breathing heavily and for a moment everywhere stood still only my Dad's groaning could be heard

"We are sorry boss" They both said apologetically

" That still doesn't answer my question. Jack now tell me what is going on here before I lose my cool and do something the both of you will regret" He added

"Ummm... Boss we are sorry we got into a heated argument" A voice I knew belonged to Jack explained

"Oh really? An argument and you all wanted the bring down the whole of this building with your voices? Is that what I paid you both for?" The Boss asked

" No sir we are very sorry Boss" They cooed

" Hey don't dare annoy me with those stupid apologies of yours. Just keep them to yourselves stupid things in sweatpants!!" He cursed

"Ok Boss" They both said

"You come here and tell me you got into a heated argument like are you all nuts? Was that what I actually sent you to do... I told you give them their lunch and then leave isn't then why all of this melodrama?" He asked then sighed

"I caused it I'm sorry but he angered me first Boss" A voice said

"Can you hear yourself talk. He angered you first... Does it make any sense to you? Why are you bent on remaining a coward for life?" The Boss thundered. By this time Dad's groaning have stopped

or I assumed so since I couldn't hear his groans

"I'm sorry Boss" A voice said

"I don't need your sorry. Now listen the two of you, the next time I see a repeat of this I will have you all fired immediately. Arrant none sense!! Now go put that girl up in her former position" He commanded and one of the men walked briskly to my side to pick me up.

"And as for you, stay clear of their paths. I don't condole stupid things here otherwise I will have both of them deal with you mercilessly" The Boss said to no one in particular

" Jack come over I need to speak with you" He added and plodded out of the exit
