May POV
I hear beeping, I'm trying to open my eyes but they feel heavy and everything hurts. I can feel someone holding my hand, it's Colton, I know it is.
I manage to open my eyes and can see Colton in a chair, holding my hand, asleep with his head next to me.
He looks so tired. I manage to lift my other arm over—though it feels heavy—and caress his hair. He stirs and opens his eyes.
"Baby!" He says surprised and then kisses me.
"Hey" Is all I can manage to say, my voice barely comes out and it's raspy.
"Don't talk, let me get the doctor and I'll get you some water too." He leaves the room and comes back with the doctor and a cup of water.
"Glad to see you're awake Luna May, how are you feeling?" He asks.
"Sore." I manage to say.
