Matt POV
I'm running in the woods, listening for the direction of the fighting. Praying to the goddess that I'll make it in time.
-Flashback- A few hours earlier.
We are naked between our sheets with her laying her head on my chest and me caressing her hair. Megan is in my arms, both of us feeling content with what we just did.
"So, she's heading to her first Alpha Ball? " Megan asks.
"Yea, she looked beautiful and so happy." I tell her.
We both smile.
"Honey, I know is too soon but, tomorrow I want to go to that baby store near the Ice cream shop. Just to look around." She says with a smile.
