“The boss wants to see you at his office.”
I blinked.
Why did Landon need me?
“Do you know what it’s for?” I asked my co-worker.
He shook his head. “No.”
Letting out a deep breath, I stood up from my desk and made my way to his office. I stood by the door. “You wanted to see me?” I asked, my voice low.
He nodded. “Yes. Come inside and have a seat.”
I gave him a skeptical look.
Then I closed the door and sat down.
“Is everything okay?" I couldn’t help but ask because we both agreed to avoid each other whenever we were at the office.
“My friend needs someone to come up with ideas for advertising his new products, and I want you to be the one in charge of it.”
“Oh, sure. I’ll do that.”
“He’s my best friend, Caleb. You haven’t met him yet.
