“Liam, just back off.”
I scoffed at Landon. “I don’t know why you even added yourself to the picture out of the blue.”
“You weren’t enough for her, so she had to come to a real man. Just back off and let us be together.”
I pinched the bridge of my nose. “The only reason she even got involved with you was that she thought you were me. If you didn’t show up as the boss that morning, you wouldn’t have met Abby.”
Landon snorted. “But she knew we were two different people and still chose to mess around with me,” he muttered. “That simply shows that you weren’t enough for her.”
