Abby didn’t show up at work the next day.
That wasn’t professional.
And personally, I wanted to see her.
I spent the whole morning pretending like it didn’t bother me. I didn’t even ask the other workers why she didn’t show up.
I mean, I didn’t need her for any important tasks at the office. But it still didn’t mean that she could just take the day off without a warning.
