Michael was behind bars for the time being, but according to Landon, he wouldn’t stay there for a long time.
I hated it. I wanted him to stay there for the rest of his life if possible. What he did was inhumane.
But Landon promised that Michael would pay for all the emotional damage I suffered because of him.
Honestly, I didn’t care about the money.
I just wanted him to stay away from me.
But I was grateful that he suffered in prison for a while.
