“You know that it’s forbidden to date an employee. What do you think the board will say about it when they find out that you’re dating someone from the company?”
Landon’s jaw hardened as he turned around to look at me.
“What do you mean, Liam?” He asked, clearly taken aback by my statement.
We had just finished having a family dinner. Everyone had left. Landon was about to head out when I finally spoke to him for the first time since we were together in the dining room.
“You heard and understood me correctly,” I replied sharply. “You know that you aren’t allowed to date someone from the office.”
Landon scoffed. “You’re just trying to start up unnecessary drama right now. I liked it better when you weren’t quiet.”
