I stayed at the staircase and listened to the conversation between my parents and Landon.
A satisfied smirk plastered across my face when I heard that his relationship with Abby was over.
But it wasn’t that easy to believe.
My goal was to cause a rift between them and make sure they both had a difficult ultimatum, but I didn’t think they would give up so easily.
For all I knew, Landon could be lying to my parents. I needed to hear it from Abby’s mouth, but I didn’t know how to ask her about it.
Landon had been calling my phone throughout the day. He must’ve figured out that it was me who tipped of the board members and also found a way to start the gossip about their relationship at the office.
