I couldn’t believe that Abby slammed the door in my face. That one hurt more than I’d ever expected.
But I didn’t leave.
“I’m sorry, Abby… please open the door,” I pleaded, my voice reeking with desperation.
She didn’t respond.
“Abby, please.”
I should have treated her nicer in the morning but I couldn’t control my emotions.
That was a mistake.
“Stop wasting your time because I’m not going to open the door, just leave.” Her voice was firm and serious.
“So you’re really going to let me stand here?”
“I’m not going to let you stand there, I’m asking you to leave my house.”
Abby was communicating with me through the window. So she was that upset? I didn’t know that I pissed her off so badly.
