“Why did you punch him?” I asked as Landon came to the front door. “And what are you doing here? I thought you weren’t sure about tonight anymore.”
Landon exhaled sharply. “I was texting and calling but you didn’t pick up your phone,” he replied. “I realized that I didn’t want to go out, I just wanted us to chill at your house and watch Netflix or something.”
I fixed my narrowed gaze on him. “Okay, but why did you punch Liam? I told you to let it go.”
Landon’s jaw clenched. “That’s not possible. Someone had to pay for this.” He pointed to his face. “And I feel a little bit better now.”
I folded my arms around my chest. “So punching your brother took the pain away?”
He shook his head. “No. But I just feel better.”
