My eyelids fluttered open slowly, my head feeling like it was stuffed with cotton balls. I groaned as I turned on my side, and put my hand to my head. I looked up, as a man hastened to my side. I saw Gray in the corner, sleeping, his head on his paws. The man had been sitting in an armchair, a pensive expression on his face, but at the sight of me awake, he practically ran over to me, taking hold of my hand as I eyed him in wonder. He was the most gorgeous male I had ever seen. Male fae are beautiful creatures but this man was stunning. Enough that my heart began to race in my chest as he held my hand, my mouth going dry. His hair was shoulder length and shaggy, and he had dark eyes that looked at me in concern. He was tall, easily overtowering me, and his muscles were practical
