Third Person POV The castle was in chaos. Servants scurried to and fro, frightened to death. The royal guards searched the castle for signs of intruders although it was clear that the shifters were long gone by now. Somebody had let them in the barrier and although they had given chase, they were too slow to capture the wolves before they passed onto the other side. Gerome, the King's advisor was in a fluster, as he ordered several guards to place King Dominic lying down on a stretcher, a plain white blanket draped over him in respect. He felt tears prick the corners of his eyes. Although the King had become cruel and twisted in some respects, once upon a time they had been best friends, but that had all changed over the years.
