Liam's POV
I flitted through the trees, silent, my paws thudding along the ground, my black fur standing out amongst the trees as I tried to slink my way through, my eyes darting every which way as I made my way towards my destination in my wolf form. I felt my heart beating wildly in my chest as I fought the urge to run. I had plenty of time, I wasn't expected back until nightfall, and Cedric, my Beta was more than capable of running the pack while I was gone. Apollo was eager to get there, commenting on the beauty of the day and reminding me just how stunning a woman our mate was becoming.
Do you think we'll see her today? I hope so, I can smell the merest whiff of her scent, but it always seems to fade a little, especially as we approach the boundary.
