SASHA Caught off guard, I froze. I had expected a discussion to erupt after Cedar voiced his opinion, but I had never thought anyone would stoop so low at a civilized business meeting. My first instinct was to shoot a glance at the visiting Elder, hoping he would step in before chaos ensued. To my shock, he remained quietly seated, unfazed. But on second thought, whatever happened prior to the Alpha Meeting’s closure was not under his responsibility, and he surely wouldn't interfere in a legal challenge. My mind raced as I tried to make the most out of the brief seconds I had to come up with a coherent response. Inside my head, Topaz was growling loudly, barking at me to let her out.
