Avery spent another two days in the infirmary before the doctor finally cleared her to leave. Liam handed her warm clothes, although she didn’t need them to feel comfortable outside in the cold weather, and waited for her to change into them. Avery pondered for a brief moment why Liam left the room despite both of them being men, giving her privacy, but she didn’t question him, neither did she try to stop him from leaving.
Once she put on her new clothes, Liam led her out of the infirmary and once again gave her a tour around the pack land.
