“Are you sure about it?” Liam asked. He sat beside Avery on the sofa in her home. Until now, he had kept spending days in her home while his house was just beside hers, but he didn’t ask her to live together. He hoped Avery would offer that herself once she felt ready to take the step. As of now, she has let him stay with her, but whenever she asks for space, Liam leaves her alone.
“There is no other way. You might deal with Dagon, but I doubt you can take care of Jericho. That guy is pretty dangerous.” Avery stated firmly. Her voice remained calm. Her reaction made Liam think she didn’t care about going back to her old pack. Although he knew there was nothing waiting for her, except maybe her older brother, but other than him, she had no one there.
