“You can’t just dismiss me like that,” Avery complained. She couldn’t openly fight with Liam without damaging their friendship, but convincing him to help her seemed to be almost impossible. “I told you, I can’t help you with that. You will remember when you are ready to remember.” Liam ran out of excuses over the past week. Every day she waited for him in the cafeteria, asking him to help her.
