“Is something wrong?” Peter asked Avery the moment she entered the infirmary. She hadn’t visited him for a few days now, since their last meeting, because of her memories. Except from her memories, Avery had no other reason to go see him until now. He could see that in her face. Her face expressed concerns. She looked tired and even her posture told Peter she didn’t feel good in her skin.
“I am not sure. I am tired, more tired than I should,” Avery began, explaining her current condition. She didn’t feel this way yesterday, but she had already realized something had changed over the last night. Avery chose the chair in front of the doctor’s table to sit on. Peter looked at her.
“Would you like to drink something?” He offered her. Avery didn’t hesitate a second before she replied.
