Another Pest!

"Who's that?" Davina asked curiously. Tabitha snicked and strode over to the door. "When you're done dressing, I'll take you to him." After saying that, she pulled the door open and walked out. Davina rolled her eyes at her words. What was the use of being so secretive when she'd still find out in matters of secrets. After dressing up, she appeared before the lady who was having tea in the sitting room. "I see someone is curious." She chuckled, getting up on her feet. "It's quite weird for someone on the run to have a guest." "Yeah, come on." Tabitha led her to the basement. When the light was flicked on, the corners of Davina's lips twitched. "This is really inhumane, you know?" She said, shaking her head. The werewolf coiled in a corner of the room was something pitiful to the eyes. Although not pitiful to her, she felt he was being wronged. "He's one of Gregor's men." Tabitha said, subverting Davina's impression of the man. She now stared at the man with utter disgust. Recalling all she had passed through in Gregor's hands, she resisted the urge to walk up to him and give him a kick. "How did you find him?" "He walked up to me and asked if you had contacted me. I told him it would be better to talk to him in private. So voila! This is where we are...discussing about it in private. I even made you appear before his eyes!" Davina bit down on her lips. "Why is he in this form?" "I want him to suffer a little. He'd never get control of this body due to what I injected him with. And on the other hand, I'd make him feel pain which he has no idea where it's going from." She laughed. "He didn't answer any of your questions?" "You're asking like you have no idea who they are. This is Gregor's man! Everyone knows who Gregor is and the fact he hardly loses a battle is because of his men." Tabitha stopped and smacked her lips. "It's a pity the man is as weak as a feather in my hands." "Are you aware his disappearance will alert Gregor and the men he came with?" Tabitha asked on a second thought. "There's no need to worry about that." Tabitha smiled maliciously. "I have that covered." ..... In a hut, a man shaking a bowl stops as he though struck by lightning. He drops the bowl and walks over to an object which suddenly had a streak of green...a sign of vitality and good health. He picked it up and examined it for a few seconds. His eyes widened as he picked out a word he never expected. But at the same time, he panicked. Without warning time, he grabbed his hand sewn thread bag and ran out of the room. He goes into a hut and comes out wearing a pair of jean and a T-shirt. The bushy area he lived in took him eight minutes to get to the main road where he flagged down a taxi and got in. He soon stopped a little farther from Jackson Franco's place. Glancing around the place, he whistled lightly then moved swiftly. The people who had seen him a few seconds ago termed it that they had hallucinated as no one passed in front of them or farther from them. As quickly as he moved, the man got himself into the room of Jackson. Jackson who was going through some cases, glanced up feeling he was no longer alone. Turning around, he glared at the man who had now laid on his bed. "I've told you times without number to inform me whenever you're on your way here!" The man on the bed paid no attention to him even when knowing fully well his action might piss Jackson. He got up minutes later with a yawn. "You bed is so comfy. It's so strong and difficult to sleep in my hut." Jackson chose not to bother himself with the man's act. "I won't ask you again. What are you doing here?" The man who seemed to have forgotten the task which brought him to the apartment, froze. Slowly, he reached into his bag and pulled out the stone-like object which had a number of words on if. Jackson was about to send him out of this house when his eyes caught sight of the green streak. He walked forward and looked down at the object. He became excited. "This...how did this happen?" "I don't know, but I do know another member of Golden Fur is around." The other man replied. Jackson's excitement grew. "Then what are you doing here?!" "I was so excited I decided to come show you first so you'd stop having the tendencies to end your life." The man whined. Jackson didn't listen to him as he turned around and made for the kitchen in the room. The other man's eyes followed him as he made noodles before rushing it into two plates. He pushed one towards the man who continued looking at him in surprise. "Why are you suddenly nice?" "I'm preparing you." Jackson replied, twirling some noodles with her fork. "Can't you wait a little?" The man who had become vexed, stopped eating the noodles and stared at him in despise. "Hey!, Don't look at me that way. I need to heal better, alright?!" His last sentence made the other man who still had something to say keep shut. The meal was eaten in silence before Jackson left to take his bath. After he came out and was drying his hair, he turned to look at the other man. "Next time, don't come into my room in that kinda way. And I have old nosy neighbors." Before he left, Jackson stated. "You'd be in the police force tomorrow. I'd make you my eyes and ears while you try to sniff out our main target." "Also beware of Calister. She's back."
