[Samara] I still felt foolish. I still felt embarrassed, but I avoided eye contact as I followed Dylan through the woods. He held onto my hand so tightly, but I didn’t mind it. In fact, it made me feel safe. The sun had long gone, and the moon shone brightly. Little thrills of excitement rippled through me as we neared the festival.
