I sat up on the bed looking around. My eyes landed on the clock and I realized it was close to dinner time. I got up and went to the bathroom to do my business. I then turned on the shower and undressed. I looked at myself in the mirror while I ran my hand down my tummy. My stomach used to be flat, but now I have a very small bump. I thought it was because of how much I was eating, but not now. Now I know I have a life growing inside me. I turn and get in the shower. As I wash my body, I can’t help but think of how I would look when my belly grows. I wonder if grandma would have been happy knowing that I was pregnant.
