Janice said that she was going to her family’s house for a week and I woke up early in order to see her go. Nick knew about it but I don’t think he was up at that hour already. It is quarter to 4 a.m. and Janice has to go before it is 4 a.m.
“Michael, I thought you were still asleep?” Janice asked right before I was about to step on the last step of the stairs.
“I woke up to see you off.” I replied to her and gave her a soft hug.
I think her things are already inside the car.
“Wow, thank you so much. Be good to your brother while I am away for a week. Your parents will also not be here and there are only the two of you in the house, so please be good.” Janice said to me.
