Chapter 53: He is unreasonable

I had fun today. Whenever I tease Nick, I feel like my day is finished not in a bad way but in a good way. It is finished like my day is complete. If Nick doesn’t want me to do such things with him, he should stop replying to me because I have no choice but to stop. The thing is he also wants it… I think? Because he would reply immediately if I am being annoying to him. Even if he says he doesn’t like it. I still think he does because of these reasons. 

Nick is just pretending he doesn’t like it but his actions say the opposite of what he is doing. That is why I am crazy for doing these things to him. We are near the school but Nick still hasn’t talked to me. I think he is not mad, rather he is focused on planning his day. Nick is the type of person who likes to think about what is going to happen to his day and such. I mean that is very common to think that way, but I think we should also let the day happen. He is overthinking and this can make him really disappointed if something he wanted to happen did not happen. I hope he will learn to change his attitude. 

I also think about my future but I always set my mind to the worst scenario so I will not be disappointed. My way of thinking is way more stable than Nick, and I get him. Maybe he is just being like this because he doesn’t want his life to be like this past life. He just wants to be aware, it is okay. But too much is not. Too much is always not good. 

“We are here.” The driver shouted. He did shout but it was not like other people’s shout that is annoying. The driver shouted in a way that he wanted us to be aware and prepare ourselves. I kinda think it is funny though but to some other people it mustn't, but I don’t care. “Janice?” Nick looked at Janice and said. It seems like Janice doesn’t want to get out of the car. This is what I really like about the people in the house. They also like teasing Nick like me. Such a great view to see that Nick is heating up because of what is happening. “No…” I said to Janice without voice while doing some gestures to make Nick more irritated. Janice smiled a little as a reply. It is getting fun. Nick doesn’t seem to know that I asked Janice to irritate him more. 

“What?” Nick said as if he was confused. “You are still not allowed to get out of the car.” Janice said while acting up. She was saying those words with a serious voice. “What do you mean?” Nick asked confusedly. He is literally confused right now. I was having fun not until Janice burst into laughter. “Ugh!” I exclaimed as soon as Janice laughed. It is the end of the drama then. Janice laughed which made Nick look at me that is why I exclaimed. “I am just kidding.” Janice said and got out of the car. Nick went out of the car too and after them I did too. “You are going to pay for this.” Nick whispered to my ears. He is not mad at Janice but he is mad at me. “I just added some spices, it was not planned at the first place.” I wanted to tell him this but it is better not to. I will just hear him nag at me again.

“Goodbye lads! See you this afternoon.” Janice said as she waved her hand for us. “Bye Janice!” I replied and also waved my hand as I walked away from her. Nick on the other hand is silent. “Hey, we were just having fun.” I said to Nick as I bumped my body to his body. “Could you for a minute stop doing that?” Nick turned to look at me closely and said. “s**t! His eyes are scary, they are not doing anything, not even moving just glaring at me. I can also see fire in his eyes.” I said to myself and noticed his face. 

“Eh… hmmm… I’ll stop then.” I said and walked together with him calmly. “Promise?” Nick asked. “Yeah.” I replied. Of course these are just lies. That is not gonna happen, my life is devoted to making Nick’s day annoying. “Please, I am begging you, behave and not do funny things with me.” Nick said to me with teary eyes. Guess he is going crazy to what I am doing with him. “Okay. I will let you rest for a day.” I said Nick. “What?!” Nick said. “Let’s go, we have to clean our areas when we go to the classroom first you know, or if you want to get scolded by your group mates, it is okay too..” I said to Nick. I often get scolded by my group mates but I don’t care about it.

“It is because you are such a pain and you like being a pain. Well, not me!” Nick shouted at me and walked fast away from me. “Hey, wait for me!” I said to Nick as I also ran towards him. “Why are you running away from me when in fact you should know that we have the same class and section. We will still see each other.” I said to Nick. “The thing is, it is not that I don’t want to see you, it is only that I don’t want to listen to your voice.” Nick said to me while closely looking at my face. “So, please shut up…please? Let us go to our classroom peacefully.” Nick said to me begging. I bit my lower lip and gave a wink to him as a response. “What the hell? Eww!” Nick said as he pushed me away from him. “What? That was a yes.” I said to Nick.

Guess he doesn’t like me acting cute. “Dude you looked disgusting!” Nick said while walking and not turning to me. “I wouldn’t even dare to look at you again.” Nick added as we were nearing the classroom. “Fine! I won’t do it again.” I said to Nick as a promise. “Not with him again.” I said to myself. “You should!” Nick pointed his finger on me and said. He is really scary and cute when he does this to me at the same time. How can a boy like him be cute when he is angry. Some people can be really an eyesore if they are mad.

“Yes sir! I promise. Is it okay now?” I said to Nick as I held his finger and put it down. It is quite amazing that I don’t feel bad when he does that. I usually hate people pointing their finger at me but when Nick did it, I did not feel bad. “Good.” Nick stopped in front of the classroom and turned to say that. See? He made an effort. 

We are now in front of the classroom. Nick then went inside as soon as he said that to me. I just watched him go inside and before going I smiled softly. “You are in the way. Excuse me.” Someone said at the back with a soft yet strong voice. “Sorry.” I said and went to the side to make the person pass inside the classroom. I turned to see the person and saw that it was Jake. He then went inside the classroom as soon as I went to the side. He made my smile fade away. I We are now in front of the classroom. Nick then went inside as soon as he said that to me. I just watched him go inside and before going I smiled softly. “You are in the way. Excuse me.” Someone said at the back with a soft yet strong voice. “Sorry.” I said and went to the side to make the person pass inside the classroom. I turned to see the person and saw that it was Jake. He then went inside the classroom as soon as I went to the side. He made my smile fade away. I was actually having a bright day already then he came. What is wrong with him? I did not like the way he said that to me. I mean, yes I know that I was in the way and he has the right to tell me that but does he have to say it in such a cold and commanding voice? He said an excuse but it doesn’t seem like he meant to say an excuse. 

He was telling me to move away. I suddenly remembered the time yesterday when I saw him with Nick. I was at first trying to tell him that maybe Jake has a reason why he is being like this, but now I don’t think so. He is being unreasonable to his actions. He is showing people how bad his attitude is and I don’t like it. He should also think of other people’s opinions and thoughts. The world does not just revolve in one person.

I don’t like him and I don’t want to be friends with him. PERIOD.
