Chapter 52: I almost forgot

I just finished taking a bath and now I am waiting for Michael to finish fixing our things. I don’t know what happened to him. He wanted to fix our things by himself. Well, it was a good thing for me so I just let him do it. “Hey, are you finished?” I asked Michael as I saw him walking in my direction. “Yeah, dude your things are so messy. I should buy you an organizer.” Michael said pointing out how messy I am with my things. “I didn’t tell you to fix my things, it’s your fault you did.” I said to Michael as I got my bag with him. “Ouch! My hand.” Michael said because I just  grabbed my bag in his hand forcefully. “It’s your fault.” I said to Michael and just walked out of the bedroom. 

“It is always his fault though, I literally didn't ask him to fix my things now he is pointing out that I am messy and that I should have an organizer.” I said to myself as I walked downstairs. “Are you good?” Janice asked as I bump into her. “Sorry, I was not able to see you while walking.” I said to Janice. “It is okay, but is there something in your mind?” Janice asked. “If only I could rant and tell you.” I said to myself while looking at Janice. “Nothing, I am just worried about what we are going to do today.” I replied to Janice. 

What kind of reasoning was that? “Ugh!” I burst in my mind. Of course, I cannot let Janice hear it, she might think that I am crazy. “I see. But where is Michael? We should go now.” Janice said in a hurry after hearing my words. “He is still upstairs.” I answered Janice’s question. “What? Michael! Michael!” Janice shouted Michael’s name. Janice is really in a hurry. “I’m coming!” Michael also shouted as a reply. “Nick! What are you going to do? You almost left your guitar here.” Michael said while walking downstairs.

We are just looking at him and also listening at the same time. “Oh! I almost forgot that I already have a guitar, thanks!” I said to Michael as soon as he was already together with us. “Tsk!” Michael replied as if he was trying to have a fight with me early in the morning. “What? I just got that yesterday evening, what do you expect? Everything still feels surreal, you know?”  I replied to Michael. I am really irritated right now. Can’t I just have a day without him being a jerk? He is literally doing things on purpose. 

“Kidding! Why are you being like this in simple things? You know that I always do this.” Michael said as he noticed that I was getting mad at him and was looking at him with killer eyes. “That’s the thing you have been doing to me but I am still not good with it.” I said to Michael while pouting my lips. “Sorry.” Michael said as he bumped his body to mine. “Whatever Michael, let us go. The time is running out. And thanks for remembering my guitar.” I said to Michael. Even though I am mad at him, I can’t neglect the fact that he reminded me of my guitar and brought it downstairs. So I really have to thank him. Besides, I don’t want to sound like a bad person who doesn’t know how to say thanks. 

“Welcome.” Michael said as he gave me my guitar. “Jerk!” I said to myself. He then walked first outside the house. “You two are so cute together.” Janice said while giggling. Seems like she is having a great time seeing the both of us doing our thing. Well, I know that they really like and have fun seeing us like this all day. I think that one of the reasons is that this house became noisy when I came here. I wonder what was their life when I wasn’t around? I think they are really in the same boat as me being happy in this house. But not in the fact that they like it when Michael and I are fighting over each other. I absolutely don’t like it so, not in this fact. 

“Let’s go outside and go to your school already.” Janice said. “Hmm…” I replied to Janice and walked together outside the house. “Good morning!” Janice said to the driver as soon as we went inside the car. “Good morning!” I also said to the driver. “Good morning!” The driver replied to Janice and I. “Nick, you go inside first and I will be in the last so I can open the window first.” Janice said to me as she was presenting the seat next to Michael. That reason could have been really great to hear in my ears, only if they were true but they aren’t. She is doing this because she also wants to tease me and Michael together. “Hmm.” I replied to Janice. 

After I said that, I saw her smirking innocently. “See? This is what I am saying, she is purposely doing this.” I said to myself as I jumped inside the car. “Somebody's not really looking good huh?” The driver added. I wonder how much they like me being too much into my business. The driver is also teasing me now. “s**t!” I said to myself. I really want to go to school already and stay away from these people for hours. I am literally losing myself in them. 

“Okay…” Janice said as she went inside the car. “Michael is next to me and it's a good thing that he is not doing anything right now and just watching something on his phone. This is really great as of now. “Is everyone good to go?” The driver asked all of us who were inside the car. “Ready!” Janice shouted so loud. Enough to make your eardrums function well. “She seems to be in a good mood.” I said to myself while looking at her smiling widely. “What is wrong with her? She looks like a crazy person.” I said to myself while still staring at it. “She is giving me goosebumps.” I said to myself again but now I turned my head on the other side. I prefer looking at Michael than her. “Okay then, I will start the car now.” The driver said as he started the car. 

“Ahhh! I am so excited to go to school as well as going to the club and practicing more chords.” I talked to myself. I looked at my guitar that is at the front next to the driver. The guitar seems like a person too. This is really making me happy. I hope Jake will not be tired and also be patient with me again today. He really tried his best yesterday to be a good teacher to me. Even though I know myself how much he is struggling. I want him to continue to teach me because he is also a good teacher. Yesterday I was able to learn 6 chords with him. I wonder how many more I am going to learn today until I finally am able to play the guitar professionally like others. By the way, I have never heard and seen Jake playing a guitar with a complete song. Yesterday he was just playing the chord but not like playing it with a whole song. 

“s**t!” I am getting all excited.
