Lexi’s mum drives into the driveway , parking her car right in front of the garage .
“Should I open the garage door ?” Lexi asks , her hand resting on the handle of the car door .
“No , I’m just going to park here .” Her mum shrugs , “But call your sister to come help us carry .” Her mom smiles as she pulls the key out of the ignition , opening her door to get out .
“Sure .” Lexi shrugs , picking up her purse and laptop bag up from between her feet before striding into the house .
She freezes as she steps into the house , noticing two big suitcases and a smaller one standing at the bottom of the staircase .
Her eyebrows furrow together before she makes her way up the stairs , wondering if her parents just got back from a trip and has yet to unpack .
