At Chief Tasunka's camp, he and Yellow Bird are talking about his cousin Viho and how evil he has always been. Yellow Bird had always warned him that Viho wanted him dead. The Chief agrees, and he finds out after speaking with some of the men who had chosen not to travel to Willow Creek Fall that it was Viho who told them that Treasure was pretending to be nice and she and her father couldn't protect them from the white people that lived in Willow Creek Falls. Before coming to this camp, most of them told Viho they would not return to the winter camp with him, they would be traveling with Treasure and Qaletaqa. This is why he's in a hurry to become Chief.
