After Emily and I's short-lived conversation in bed the other night, I have made for sure to keep my eyes on her. I just want to make sure that she is okay and that nothing is wrong, that she is feeling no distress from any outside factors that I have some kind of control over. The last thing that I want her to feel is any kind of insecurity now that Delilah is around, her worries about the woman completely valid and yet she was the one who invited her to work for us in the first place.
Maybe it was a way for her to get away from the sight of Delilah and I together. I would feel the same exact way and would have done the same exact thing if I were in her shoes. I don't know how I would react if one of her exes, somebody like Jack or Michael, came into our lives and offered to work
