**Adaline's P.O.V**
It has been almost two weeks since the judge declared a mistrial, and I was free to go home. So much has happened since then. The prosecutor tried to refile charges against me almost instantly, but soon his plate was full with the new cases that landed on his desk when the information my mom leaked at the trial was shown to the public. Some of the girls in the photographs came forward wanting to press charges. Sadly, others either committed suicide, or ran away from home and could not be found. I pray they all have sound peace in some way, and are no longer suffering in silence. Camille stayed in Paris, feeling a strong need to support the women coming forward, and helping them get the justice they deserve from the once powerful men who frightened them.
