All the conversation stopped when Alina said. Looking unfazed, she put a smile on her face and approached Nicole, Marta, Xavier, and Marko. “Really, Nicole? You couldn’t wait until you at least had a ring on your finger to start bringing in the family?” She turned with a sneer to Marta. “Nice to see you, Marta. I see a few new lines around the eyes.”
“Always a pleasure, Alina,” Marta raised a glass towards her before she turned to Pietro as he approached them. She saw the angry glint in his eyes and smiled internally.
