Nicole tried to keep with Marko’s longer strides as they made their way back to the others. Even though she tried to find out who the person was that Marko had identified in the photo, he never did. Instead, he had taken her hand and practically dragged her with him.
Getting to the waiting area, they only found Samantha and Frank.
“Are you guys ok?” Samantha asked, her eyes pointed at Nicole.
Nicole gave her a nod and a smile, as she took the seat that Marko was pushing her on. She looked up at him with confusion but his gaze was on his phone as he typed something rapidly. “Where are Janine and Dwayne?”
“They had to go,” Frank replied. “We are waiting for Liam. He should be here in a minute or two.”
Not a second passes before Liam shows up with a small smile on his face. “She is awake
