The pain was immense, and I howled out into the night, as my knees hit the ground. What in the hell is going on in there? I can feel Bree’s fear through the bond, and then nothing. I think she has fainted or something because the bond is still there, it has not been broken, but I can’t reach her. Bree was just in a great deal of pain. I believe I know what happened, as I have a burning pain at my mating mark, and I am going to take pleasure in toying with Nico before I kill him. She is my mate, and he cannot take her away from me.
I heard several footsteps approaching me and I looked up to see Asher in front of me, with Tyler and Tate walking up to us now. They all looked concerned, and I am concerned, as well. I have never in my life felt pain like that before,
