I’m still dumbfounded right now.
I really can’t believe it. I’ve watched other performances, so I don’t get it why I got to be the cheerleader. The other students’ performances are more graceful and excellent than mine. And actually, I had stopped dancing for years though I accepted what happened already.
I am here in the field with Dylan since it’s our vacant time.
“I told you, Julia. Believe it or not, you are the most amazing dancer s***h my best friend that I’ve ever seen.” Dylan said chuckling.
“Tch, I’m fine just being a member but being the cheerleader? No, I can’t. And since when did become best friends, huh?” I asked as I raised my brow to him.
“Why? Aren’t we best of friends?” He asked, then pouted that made laugh a bit.
“You know, Dylan. It’s not your thing to be cute.”
“Tch.” He pouted even more that made laugh loudly.
“Fine, just keep laughing there. You see, I will not tell you who’s to blame for being the cheerleader.”
I grinned. Of course, Dylan knows. “Who else? It’s only Theo, right?”
Dylan grinned to me. “No, there are others.”
“What? Who are they? Tell me!” I wanna know those who put me in this situation.
“It’s not your thing to be cute, Julia.” Dylan imitating what I said.
Damn, I really curious. I am really not good at dancing anymore, so I can’t fully accept what happened.
“Please, Dylan. Tell me.”
“Okay, but before I tell you. Tell me that we are best friends.”
He’s freaking blackmailing me. “Fine. We’re best of friends. You are my best friend, and I am your best friend. Happy? Now, tell me what I want to know.”
“It was a smirking monster. He is the one to blame. He is one of the judges, so he’s at fault for you being the cheerleader.” He answered chuckling.
“What? You blackmailed me, and now, you’re saying it’s only Theo?”
Damn. How can I even defeat the next owner of this academy?
“And also, I’m one of the judges,” Dylan said and started running.
“Argh! I’m gonna kill you, Dylan!” I shouted before chasing him.
“GEORGE! Did you see Prince?” the b***h asked again.
I rolled my eyes to her. “What the f**k! I already said it to you. I’m not a lost and found center, Briela! Find him yourself!” I said, irritated to her presence.
“Fine! I’ll find him myself,” she said while rolling her eyes to me.
Wrong move, b***h.
No one can roll their eyes to me. I took my katana under my office table and swiftly moved it in my hand before aiming at Briela. Briela was shocked, looking at my katana that is almost near on her head in the wall before she started running away.
I hate her so much. I loathed her to death. Whenever Briela is around, I get irritated easily. From the first time that we met. I felt so uneasy. I’m not comfortable with her being around.
She’s Briela Thriego, by the way. She’s the daughter of my family’s closest servant, who is already dead. Because of that, my family keep her and treated her as one of our family. I don’t really trust her, actually. Even though I haven’t seen her doing something terrible, I still want to kill her.
I looked outside the window of my office, where I can see the whole soccer field. I smiled when I saw someone.
Julia and Dylan, both playing and each other. Oh, I bet someone is furious while watching them.
“I see it coming...”
How amazing it is. Theo just met her but his acting strange now. It was really shocking, but one day, everything that I’ve seen on my vision will happen, especially the things that the prophecy has already told us.
I smiled again. Everything that happens right now is getting interesting.
“I swear, Dylan! I’m gonna kill your cousin. I’m gonna kill both of you!” Julia shouted.
“You’re so bad, Julia. I’m not like Theo!” Dylan also shouted before running faster.
DYLAN grinned when he saw me. “So what are you doing here?” he asked.
“This my academy, where else should I be?” I answered.
He laughed. “You’re one hella of a liar, Theo. You are here to watch someone, aren’t you?”
I don’t need to answer him. I sat down beside him and waited for the cheering squad of Blackwell to start.
Seconds passed before the cheering squad goes out of the sports building. All of them are wearing their uniform to make themselves comfortable.
I felt Brian’s presence beside me. “That one looks so sexy.” then he whistled when the girl wink at him.
“Dude, that woman will freak out when she found out that you’re almost a hundred years old,” Dylan said that made me and Brian laugh.
The instructor was gonna start the practice when I noticed something.
“Where the hell is the cheerleader?”
“Julia said that she’s going to change. Maybe, she is still in the Girl’s locker room.” Dylan answered.
“No.” Something is not right. I look at Dylan. “Dylan, stop the time, please.”
Dylan obliged, and everybody stops from what they are doing. Only me and Brian can move from Dylan, who controls the time.
I quickly ran as fast as I could to the Girl’s locker room. And when I entered the room, what I saw made furious.
“GIRL, from what I heard, you became the cheerleader because Dylan Valerious is close to you, so he voted for you.”
“Yeah, and even my Theodore voted for you. You’re not even that graceful when you’re dancing.”
I was stunned when these two Girls blocked me from going out to the locker. Damn it! What is wrong with these girls? I don’t even want to be a cheerleader.
“Excuse me? It was all Dylan and Theo Valerious’ doings. I have nothing to do with their decisions. So please, talk to them, not to me. I need to leave.” I answered and was about to go out when I felt my back hit a locker. It was f*****g painful.
Deja vu. I think I have felt this kind of pain before.
I looked at the bitches. The other one hissed at me while the other one was smirking.
Groping my head, I tried to stand up, but I failed as I look at my hand when I felt a warm liquid coming from my head. It’s my blood.
“Girl, we know you are new here. But you are a slutty b***h! w***e!” Said one of the b***h before leaving me in the locker room.
I sob as I try to stand and walk to my locker. I felt dizzy, and my vision is getting blurry while walking to my locker. I felt pain because of my back that hit a locker a while ago every step I take. When I reached my locker, I looked at my cheering uniform, tainted by my blood. God, It will be hard washing this blood off.
As I opened my locker, I was shocked when I saw a man with fangs looking at me in my mirror. I was about to shout when suddenly, the guy disappeared. He was now in the other corner of the locker room full of blood, and his head was undetached to his body.
Flashes of memories suddenly invaded my mind. I think I have seen this kind of death before, but I can’t remember it.
“Are you okay?”
I know that voice. I slowly turned my eyes to Theo. His eyes stunned me and what made me more shocked is the blood dripping down from his hands.
God, he’s the...
I covered my mouth as I want to suppress what I’m about to say. I want to shout, but I can’t. Theo just saved me, but he’s a... vampire.
“I think you should rest.” He said before feeling myself falling and fell asleep.
