SOPHIA’S POV His lips crashed against mine and the world tilted. My first instinct was to shove him back, to remind him I wasn’t some possession he could parade around. But my body betrayed me. My fingers curled into his shirt, and I let him kiss me because God help me, I wanted it. The kiss wasn’t gentle or patient. It was heated and demanding, and it made my pulse race in ways I didn’t want to admit.
