SOPHIA’S POV The one that kicked me out stepped forward. “Sorry.” “Apologize properly,” Silas said. “I’m sorry.” He turned to the other two. “I’m sorry,” they said in unison. Silas turned to me and I nodded in satisfaction. The manager’s assistant came back with an armful of dresses. I picked one without even looking and told them to bag it. We stepped back outside and his security and police had eliminated the crowd. They walked behind us on the sidewalk. Silas didn’t say a word until we were halfway down the street.
