I step out of the shower and huff.
I still couldn’t believe my mate kicked me out of her room this morning.
We both fell asleep in her hospital bed but were woken up by the doctor. He wanted to run some tests on her, and if they all came back clear, Ebony would be home later this evening.
I was excited, but it was short-lived when Ebony told me I should go. Let’s say Scout, and I nearly had a full-blown argument with her until she explained she had nothing to wear home, which was right as what she wore at the bar that day was ruined and binned because of her blood, and not to mention that man’s scent was all over it.
Scout growled, but I agreed only if she let Karia stay with her. She agreed. I left an hour ago.
I had a shower as I needed to freshen up.
