Actually, I was so grateful he accepted me like this, and I loved him so much.
"Kaiden, it doesn't matter, you didn't know about me, and I wanted to hide it from you. I've let you think that I left you intentionally, so I'm not angry with you at all. I'm happy to be with you again.
"So does it mean you forgive me?"
I smiled and nodded.
"Yes. Of course."
He smiled happily and pulled me close. We kissed each other. Deeply, lovingly, I folded my arms around his neck, and he hugged me by my waist. Finally, he pulled away and picked me up.
"Kaiden, where are you taking me?"
"Back to bed, my love."
"What?"
Okay, that answer didn't put me at ease at all. I wouldn't refuse him if he wanted... that, but deep inside me I thought it was too early. I felt like I was not ready for that yet.
