We whispered to each other. He straightened his arms, and with a sudden movement, he pulled me into his embrace, and hugged me with both of his arms tight. It felt nice and warm. I buried my head in his chest and asked with a smile.
"Aren't you hungry?"
I looked at him, to see his smile widen into a grin and then went back into a smile.
"I am, but let me hug you for a few minutes more."
"Okay."
And then I just realized something that made me feel embarrassed.
Knowing Kaiden, his grin meant my question could be understood in two ways. I felt my cheeks reddening when I'd got that in my mind. I knew that I had to give it to him, and I didn't know if I would ever be ready for that, but I made up my mind yesterday. I'm going to get used to him again in
