(Astrid POV)
I walked out of the patient's room and sighed looking at the papers. Isaac has an operation till noon and since it's a risky one, he told me to conduct today's rounds instead of attending with him.
So far I have conducted the rounds for floor one and two. I looked at the watch and found it was lunch break.
I made way to the cafeteria and ordered my food.
"Oh! Doctor Astrid" a familiar voice came as I turned around.
"Oh hi, Maddy," I said as the cheerful cowboy girl grinned and walked to me.
"You're here for lunch?" I asked as she nodded.
"Yes. I just went to give papa and Mama their lunch. Are you alone Doc? Can I accompany you? If that is alright" she said as I nodded.
"Thank you. I’d love that" I said as I paid my money and brought the lunch.
